An exciting opportunity has come up in The Analytics Team within Digital Services at The Christie Hospital in Manchester.

We are looking for a Data Scientist to work with our Statisticians and Analysts to provide insight from The Christie's data landscape to improve clinical outcomes.

The successful candidate should be able to:

  • Utilise programming languages or Analytical packages to provide desired outcomes/insights
  • Liaise with Clinicians to define specification/outcome
  • Write SQL queries to extract data specification
  • Perform summary statistics and provide insight into data quality and data provenance
  • Present results of analysis in a clear and concise manner across a variety of mediums
  • Perform critical analysis of technology innovations and outcomes methodology
  • Have a supervisory role for innovation projects
