Medical Education Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Medical Education Team at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, part of the Education Academy at Barts Health Trust.

The Education Academy is part of the Academic Health Sciences (AHS) Directorate of Barts Health NHS Trust. The directorate links both research and education to clinical practice in the Trust. Our purpose is to ensure the delivery of quality, cost effective education and training, resulting in our learners (our students, trainees and staff) being equipped with the right skills, values and behavior’s to provide safe effective care and positive experience for patients.

 

Medical Education Administrator

Band 3: Full time (37.5 hrs)

The post holder will be the first point of contact for trainees and medical students that are placed at St Bartholomew’s. Working closely with the Medical Education Manager, Director of Medical Education and the Associate Dean you will help with the smooth running of Medical Education at the St Bartholomew’s site. The post holder will also work in partnership with Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and local medical education colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized and good at building relationships with staff across the Trust and students alike. We are seeking someone with an interest in improving the trainee/student experience and have an understanding and interest in education.
