Clinical Quality Lead - Step2

Do you want to influence the development of an evolving service as part of our leadership? Do you want to be part of a vibrant and passionate multi-disciplinary team working alongside a range of mental health practitioners?

An rare opportunity has arisen to establish and develop the post of Clinical Quality Lead for the Step2 Service, across Hertfordshire. This is a genuinely dynamic role which is an excellent opportunity for a current senior clinical leader.

The role covers the clinical leadership of Step2, an early intervention community Child and Adolescent Mental Health service. The post holder will lead on quality & improvement for clinical practice for the Service. You will support the Service’s Operational Manager and contribute to the Service’s Strategic expansion and future transformation which will be done in partnership with senior management, partner organisations, and the Integrated Health and Care Commissioning Team. This will include integration and closer working of HCT’s Step2, and other CYP community specialist services such as PALMS, Paediatrics and Public Health Nurses.

Applicants should have relevant clinical, quality and leadership experience.

A key aspect of this role will be to work with the current experienced and committed team to build on the delivery of consistently high quality care and cost effective service. You will lead on delivering projects and service changes and the ability to thrive in a fast moving change environment is essential. You will be required to work with senior managers within the Trust as well as with external partners in order to develop the model of service delivery.

The post is part of the Children and Young Person Business Unit within the organisation who strives for excellence and effectiveness. The post holder will lead on transformation agendas working with the area managers, clinical quality, transformation leads and commissioner in order to achieve this.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
