Currently 4800 babies are born at Peterborough City Hospital and 2200 at Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon. We provide maternity services to a mixed city and rural community diverse culturally and economically.

Huntingdon is a flourishing town with good road and rail way links to London and Peterborough.

We are looking for a proactiveMidwife\Obstetric Ultrasonographer to join our team of Midwife Ultrasonographers providing a full range of Obstetric Diagnostic Scanning Services based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital Site in Huntingdon.

This post requires performing Obstetric Ultrasound in our Antenatal Clinic, and Maternity Day Assessment Unit (MDAU) .We undertake all Obstetric scans in these areas with direct referral from Ultrasonographer to Consultant Obstetrician where necessary on site.

You should be a Midwife Ultrasonographer or Ultrasonographer with a minimum of RM/Cert Obstetric Ultrasound or Radiographer with Obstetric Ultrasound experience. You are expected to hold Nuchal Translucency accreditation or to be working towards accreditation.

The hours of work will be negotiated to allow best use of Ultrasound facilities.
