Healthcare Assistant

Job Reference: J240-A-19-11736

Employer:
Spire Healthcare Ltd
Location:
Brentwood
Salary:
Competitive

Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood offers comprehensive private hospital services to patients from Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon, Romford and surrounding parts of Essex and East London.  We offer a variety of treatments, specialising in orthopaedic surgery, cancer care, cosmetic surgery, ophthalmology and general surgery.

We are looking for an experienced and NVQ3 qualified Healthcare Assistant to join us at Spire Hartswood Hospital. Our Healthcare Assistants are an intrinsic part of our clinical teams, working closely with our Nurses in carrying out a range of basic nursing tasks under their supervision such as personal hygiene, feeding and mobility.

‘Looking after you’ is the commitment we make to each and every one of our patients, and our Healthcare Assistants play an important role in this. If you are someone who enjoys making a difference then this could be the role for you. On a daily basis you will be helping our patients maintain their comfort, privacy and dignity, and this is something that our patients are most grateful for.

We regularly support our Healthcare Assistants to achieve NVQ’s so that they can carry out an increased range of clinical tasks. As you become more experienced and qualified you will be able to broaden your range of clinical duties, making this a role that truly grows with you. A caring nature, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop are essential.

Our 'bank workers' work ad hoc shifts as and when required to suit business needs, often to cover busy periods, sickness or annual leave.

All applications for this vacancy should be received by 31st October 2019

An enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service or Disclosure Scotland will be applied for in the event of a successful application.
