A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and self-motivated Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy service within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Our Musculoskeletal Service is a busy and forward thinking provider of Community Outpatient Physiotherapy across twenty clinic sites in Birmingham serving a diverse population. We receive referrals for acute and chronic conditions from GPs, ESPs and self referrals. We have strong links with the orthopaedic triage and the local pain service.

We are looking for a suitably qualified Physiotherapist with a minimum of one year's post graduate experience to join our friendly and innovative team. Experience of working in an Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy environment would be an advantage. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about providing first class assessment and treatment to people with a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. You should be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge and evidence of CPD and be prepared to contribute to our comprehensive IST programme and Clinical Interest Groups.

You will usually be timetabled to work out of a maximum of two different clinics over your working week. We will take into account any requests to work in a certain geographical location, however you may be required to move base as service demands alter. Operating hours are from 7am to 8pm in some clinics across the city and there may be the opportunity for flexible working.

We have a robust, well structured IST programme and in addition you will be supported by our band 6s, 7s and ESPs through regular IST, mentoring and clinical supervision. You will be responsible for managing your own patient caseload within a supportive and experienced team.

Applicants should have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and have current HCPC registration.
