The Becton site is a sub-regional site that provides a therapeutic day and in patient care for children and young people who present with emotional, behavioural and mental health issues.

We are looking to recruit into our small and friendly team of evening housekeepers, working from 15.45pm until 19.45pm weekdays and either a morning or an afternoon shift as per rota on a weekend.

The successful applicant will be required to carry out a range of general housekeeping duties and will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness using modern methods of machinery. Duties may also include the delivery of and serving of a meal service at ward levels.

The successful applicants will also be responsible to record and document all departmental and Trust directives in compliance with Good Management and Environmental Health Practices. Applicants must be aware that this can be a very challenging and demanding role at times, and therefore the successful applicant must be very flexible in their approach to working regimes with a mature attitude.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
