The Mental Health InReach Team is a Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) service based in HMP Peterborough. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated team of mental health nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, a substance misuse practitioner and administrative staff together with non-healthcare disciplines within the prison. The team offer mental health care to residents in the prison within core working hours from 0900hrs to 1700hrs.

We have 1 practitioner covering weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis which means we run a 7-day service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to offer evidence based nursing interventions which assist in the understanding and management of various mental health issues and the development of management plans within a wider Multi-disciplinary Team setting. The successful candidate will have a full Trust and Prison induction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team.
