An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our highly skilled and friendly team on 12 West, within the Private Patient Unit, at The Royal Free Hospital. We are a 15 bedded acute surgical ward covering a wide range of specialities: cardiology, HPB, renal, Gynaecological, Hepatology, Orthopaedic, vascular, colorectal, and many more. We have 8 monitored beds for patients requiring close monitoring pre and post operatively, and for those stepped down from Intensive Care.

The unit supports patient choice for private care, whilst developing a business that is generated to be invested directly back in to the trust for all of the patients to benefit from. As a nurse, you will be working collaboratively with a dedicated team of nurses, consultants, MDT colleagues and students who are all driven to make private healthcare work within the Trust to benefit all patients, and provide clear career opportunities.

The unit is passionate about delivering high quality patient care and promoting positive outcomes. You will be supported by a senior nursing team who are committed to ensuring you receive professional development at every level.
