We are looking to recruit an additional Physiotherapy Assistant to our team due to the current post-holder leaving to further their studies.

If you are enthusiastic, keen to learn, thrive on variety in your work and enjoy working with people to achieve their goals, then this could be the job for you.

This role would include working closely with the physiotherapists to support patients in their rehabilitation following injury or surgery. We would support you to develop the necessary skills to support patients with advice and exercise programmes through a process of on-the-job training.

Within your daily week you would also be required to manage the local infection control requirements, monitor and report on standards of Health and Safety in the department and maintain walking aid supplies. This role will also require data entry and collection of data from clinical activity therefore familiarization with office computer packages is useful. Training would be provided to support you to deliver this in your role.

You will participate fully in an innovative model of care with senior support which makes it an excellent learning environment. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and self motivated with an aspiration to innovate and improve all aspects of care delivery within the Musculoskeletal out-patient physiotherapy service.
