A secondment/fixed term opportunity has been established within the IT Programme Team for an experienced IT Programme Manager to join the team.

The applicant will have significant previous experience of programme management and the implementation of clinical systems in the NHS.

With the ability to lead and manage multiple project teams to deliver the IT Programme, the post holder will be a passionate champion for the IT Programme, able to transfer their knowledge and enthusiasm to others and be able to apply different techniques to assist teams to tackle their challenges.

As an experience programme manager the post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of the products and services as defined within the Programme/Project Plans. This encompasses the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the project working across all project work streams. You will work closely with service stakeholders and clinical practitioners ensuring that the project and workgroup deliverables are met within the timelines as defined in the Programme/Project Plans.

Applicants should have a significant experience of implementing clinical systems in the NHS with experience of leading and managing teams to support the delivery of healthcare. The applicant should have good negotiating skills as the post requires supporting staff in adapting to significant change in the way they work.

Although the post is based at our Aylesbury offices you will be required to travel across the Trust on a regular basis, sometimes at short notice

Project work is fast paced so the applicant should have the aptitude to work quickly and at times under pressure.
