We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist/Senior Charge Nurse to provide clinical leadership to our nursing team in Dermatology Outpatients at the main Denmark Hill site.

We are a busy Dermatology department and an active teaching environment providing a wide range of dermatological services such as MOHS surgery, Phototherapy, Patch testing, Iontophoresis, Surgical and day treatment nursing services.

To be considered for the role you should have studied at degree level and hold an appropriate specialist course in dermatology as well as a mentorship qualification. Suitable applicants will also need to have substantive nursing experience working in Dermatology at Band 6.

Successful applicants will be working in a friendly and dynamic nursing team and will be supported by the Matron for Dermatology as well as a team of experienced peers.

To succeed you must have strong leadership and communication skills as well as a flexible pro-active approach and a keen interest in the supervision and development of others.

As this is a mixed role incorporating both management and clinical responsibilities it is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to continue to develop their skills in both areas.
