The Role

The Learning Disability & Forensic Services Strategic Business Unit has a vacancy for a highly motivated Team Administrator within the Criminal Justice & Forensic Mental Health Team.

The successful candidate, who will play a key role within the team, will possess excellent, accurate IT and administrative skills, display a considerable degree of initiative and mature judgement. The post holder will need to maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with service users, their relatives, colleagues and visitors. They will be required to work independently, applying a high degree of confidentiality to all of their work. They must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, whilst managing competing demands and organising their work effectively.

This role involves inputting and maintaining data effectively, managing diaries, arranging meetings and taking minutes, arranging visits for team members including clinical staff, answering the phone and dealing with queries as they arise. The post holder may also be required to offer occasional ad hoc administrative support to the wider SBU management team as necessary. This post is full-time working five days a week.
