What you will be doing

As a qualified RMN nurse – either with experience or a preceptee - you will ensure mental health conditions receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork.

No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

The service operates 24/7. You will work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights. Standard shifts are 12 hours a day, working 3 days one week, 4 days the next.

Where you will be working

Our service at Rosebank House provides 24 hour specialist care and support for up to 9 men and 4 women with severe and enduring mental health needs. People who come to Rosebank House have normally come from a hospital environment or have been sectioned under the Mental Health Act (1983). Our care focuses on empowering people to take control of their lives.

We are looking for highly skilled and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health who are looking for a challenging and exciting role with the potential to shape and develop our services as part of a supportive and innovative team.  You’ll be experienced in caring for patients with a range of mental health issues and be recovery focused. A drive to improve clinical quality and consistently provide the highest level of care is paramount. In return you’ll be given training and tailored professional development opportunities. You will be working alongside other dedicated nurses who are keen to develop themselves as you are.
