As well as this we are an accredited cancer centre and provide cancer services to a wider population of Northamptonshire and parts of Buckinghamshire.

  • A modern alongside three-bed Birth Centre with birthing pools and 8 postnatal beds
  • 8 bed consultant-led Labour Ward with a birthing pool.
  • A dedicated Obstetric theatre with recovery
  • 18 bed Maternity higher Observation Ward
  • A Bereavement Suite with garden
  • A Maternity Day Unit and Outpatient Clinic and Midwifery Led Sonography services
  • 23 bedded ward for inpatient antenatal and postnatal mothers and babies
  • A dedicated and award winning dedicated Home Birth Team
  • Six bedded Transitional Care Ward will launch August 2019 to facilitate care of babies requiring Transitional care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to join the team as the lead Practice Development Midwife. If you are a clinically credible midwife with a broad range of midwifery experience possess distinct passion for ongoing learning and development then this could be the role for you. You will need to be self -motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. The successful post holder will need to be motivated and driven to provide excellent MDT training and to providing an interlinked, supportive network across the maternity service and wider Trust.
