ANP – Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Acute Service)

Salary equivalent to Band 8A

Full-time or Part-time

Are you an Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking for a new challenge?  We are the largest GP practice in the East Riding and are seeking an experienced ANP to join our multi-disciplinary team on either a full or part-time basis.

About this Role

You will be an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other members of our team.  This is a key role within our team and you will manage acute presentations as part of our on-the-day service. As an expert clinical practitioner, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessments, working autonomously using high levels of decision making and clinical judgement in relation to patient care including the diagnosis and management of acute conditions.

About You

You will have a relevant qualification at Masters level and be a registered non-medical prescriber.

Experience of working in primary care would be welcome but we are also interested in hearing from candidates with appropriate experience in other healthcare settings.

About Us

We have recently merged three practices to become Holderness Health and now serve a patient population of 36,000 patients.  Our merger provides us with many new opportunities to shape services for the benefit of our local community.  It is an exciting time for us as we continue to develop and build our clinical teams.

We operate from seven sites located across Holderness in Hedon, Keyingham, Patrington, Roos and Withernsea and have 20 GP partners and over 120 staff.

We can offer you…

  • Salary equivalent to Band 8A
  • 30 days annual leave pro rata + 8 public holidays (Pro rata for part-time)
  • Supported training and Development
  • Full or part-time role
  • NHS Pension Scheme
  • An amazing opportunity to help us build resilient, patient-focused services

For further information about the role or to arrange an informal visit to the practice, please contact Cathryn Palmer, Head of Human Resources at or on 07720 696077.
