Your day-to-day…


You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week in The Springs Centre – Highly Specialised Autism Spectrum Disorder service


• Manage the ward & the activities of the team & supervise shifts
• Ensure effective nursing practice and that all governance and compliance targets are met
• Actively promote best practice clinical care & ensure policy & procedures are followed
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
• Coach, mentor & participate in staff development to improve practice
• Take a lead role in working with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate effective care plans that meet the physical & emotional needs of the service users in a caring, empathic

 

We’re looking for someone who is…


• An experienced RMN / RNLD with a current Pin Number
• Preferably experienced in a supervisory / team leader role
• Open, compassionate, honest, resilient & able to empower and support others
• Diligent, accurate & capable of maintaining documentation and undertake audits
• Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have experience working with adult mental health clients
• Able to delegate in a clinical lead role
• Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk.

Cygnet Health Care have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services more than 30 years.


Cygnet Hospital Harrow provides a recovery focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems. We also offer specialist diagnostic, assessment and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and who also have a dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.

The Springs Centre supports up to 15 men with mental health needs and an additional diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder. The Springs Centre is positioned between the low secure service (Springs Unit) and the open rehabilitation service (Springs Wing) at Cygnet Hospital Harrow.
