You will have an integral part to play in the high standards of our premises and maintaining standards of cleanliness and infection prevention and control.  The requirements for cleaning the building will include reception, clinical areas, offices, staff room, toilets, showers, circulation space and handling of refuse to the external storage area.

We are looking to appoint a suitably motivated and experienced Domestic Services Assistant to carry out the cleaning of Ambleside Health Centre in Ambleside to ensure that staff, patients and visitors benefit from a safe healthcare and working environment.

 

It is essential that the post holder is well organised, self-disciplined and able to work in accordance with the requirements of the service.  He/she maintains a neat and tidy appearance and a good standard of personal hygiene, is polite and courteous when dealing with the public and site staff.

 

We are looking for an individual who has knowledge of cleaning procedures, colour coding  and COSHH with the with the ability to follow planned work schedules. We are looking for colleagues who are willing to work towards an NVQ 2 and will be provided an induction and training in Domestic Cleaning. Team members should be able to use own initiative on routine cleaning issues and work in a professional and courteous manner.
