CESR Competency Achievement Posts (CAPs) for Specialty Doctors - Old-Age Psychiatry

Lancashire Care are excited to present our fantastic new progression posts, for psychiatrists interested in working towards entry onto the Specialist Register via the CESR route.

With amazing hands on support from consultant colleagues, including portfolio development and exposure to a wide range of experience (including ECT) to aid competency achievement, this is a great opportunity for experienced psychiatrists, looking to make the next move in their career. You will rotate through various jobs (including inpatients) over 2-3 years dependent on your progression.

Part of this fantastic opportunity will provide:

  • 2 SPA sessions per week
  • Bespoke portfolio
  • Regular clinical supervision & a separate CESR mentor
  • Free access to the RCPsych’s CPD Online
  • Involvement in our academic programme and medical student teaching
  • Support in gaining research competencies
  • SAS Tutor support and CESR / SAS support forums

Lancashire Care also have recently invested in state of the art accommodation, which is available for our Doctors, should they require it.
