Do you enjoy helping others? Do you believe in giving something back to the local community? We are seeking a local, experienced receptionist to work at our friendly NHS GP surgery in Woking.

Join our team who believes in making real difference to patients’ lives and provide patients the care and support they deserve.

Main responsibilities of the role will include the provision of effective and confidential reception duties including answering telephone calls, use of clinical IT system, meeting/greeting of all patients and visitors in a polite, calm and approachable manner. Other duties will include the management of the patient documents, data input and at times some administrative/clerical support to the clinical and management team.

  • Competitive rate of pay, based on experience and NHS Pension.

  • Support from team of experienced receptionists and Pharmacist.

  • Structured training and development program (Applicant should have good Communication, IT skills and knowledge of basic medical terminology)

    Interested in candidates who reside locally and can work on a full time or part time contract. Flexibility is essential as hours may change to cover annual leave/sickness etc.

    Previous experience of GP reception work and EMIS computer system preferable
