Foxhall House has been open since November 2010 and won 'Team of the Year' in the NSFT Trust ‘Putting People First’ awards in 2016. Foxhall House is a 16 bedded forensic low secure unit for men with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or personality disorder. Our service users have had experience of the criminal justice system and many have restrictions placed upon them by the ministry of justice.

We promote the trust vision and values – “positively”, “respectfully” and “together” – in the treatment of our patients and staff. This is formed through collaborative working with a focus on the assessment and management of risk, safety and care planning.

A position has become available within our team for a Clinical Support Worker who has previous experience with working with people who have a severe and enduring mental illness.

We have a genuine commitment to training and development and you should expect to access all relevant sector specific qualifications for your role whilst in this post. The foundation qualification for support staff is the Care Certificate which will form part of your induction into the Trust and must be achieved within the first 12 weeks of employment.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.


Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
