An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a social worker for the rapidly expanding Crisis Care Team at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will join our multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, social work and psychotherapy to provide crisis support and assessment of young people who are presenting in a mental health crisis, training and consultation to colleagues

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated team members who are able to work as an active member of our multidisciplinary team. Clinical experience of assessing and managing risk within a mental health setting is essential, and professional registration with HCPC is required.

The service is developing to run 24 hours a day 7 days a week and the post holder will be required to work across this period in the near future, including early, late or night with weekend shifts.
