Along with a 2.2 million expansion into our own new unit the urology team is undergoing an exciting development and expanding within our administration and nursing teams. We have been exceptionally privileged to receive funding to expand all element of our urology service, providing diagnostic one-stop urological clinics, lithotripsy for urinary stone and rapid access services to improve patient care.

The new UHS Urology Centre is a modern purpose built diagnostic and outpatient department specialising in urological care. You will have the opportunity to organise and manage the administration of the Urology Centre utilising your existing skills and develop specialist urology services within the department. The support of our fun and friendly team will enable you to care for our patients within an environment that provides a welcoming atmosphere in a dynamic busy service. Main responsibilities will include managing the day to day booking and allocation of urology patients for Outpatients, Lithotripsy Clinic, Flexi Cystoscopy Lists, Urodynamic, Bladder Instillations, Prostate Biopsy Clinic and Complex catheter Clinic. You will also manage the ward clerk team rosters and cover for the Urology Centre reception area from Monday – Saturday.

Although urology or outpatient experience would be an advantage, it is not essential to joining our team.
