An exciting opportunity has arisen within Bi Borough Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster (KCW) School Health service to a recruit an experienced School Nurse Team Leader for our Westminster Team based at Warwick street

Do you want to be part of developing and shaping a new school nursing service model in Central London? Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic practitioner passionate about SCPHN/School Nursing?

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated School Nurse Team Leader to provide professional leadership and line management to a team of school nurses. Your responsibilities will include delivering the public health message in schools and community settings, delivering the universal Healthy Child Programme, inter agency working to ensure all children and young people are protected from harm and providing enhanced services to those children and families with additional needs.The position will involve carrying a reduced caseload. As a team leader you should also demonstrate excellent interpersonal & communicative skills and the ability to be adaptable and flexible. As a Team Leader you will demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to provide professional leadership to a team of school nurse. Evidence must be provided of keeping up to date in practice issues and maintain awareness of developments in School Nursing and make changes to clinical practice as required.
