Band 5 Community and Events Fundraiser

The opportunity

Due to the planned growth of the Trust’s Charity following relaunch, and our new appeal Tiny Stars, a vacancy has arisen for a Community and Events Fundraiser (CEF).

The CEF will be an employee of Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (‘the Trust’, WUTH), and will work within the Trust’s Financial Services Department. WUTH Charity (‘the Charity’, Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund – registered charity number 1050469) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Trust.

The CEF will primarily work on leads which generate Charity income, occasionally working on projects which bring income directly to the Trust.

The CEF's primary purposes are to work closely with the Head of Fundraising in developing and implementing WUTH Charity’s community and events fundraising programme, building volunteer teams and income streams, and supporting the everyday work of our growing Charity.
