For further event details, please see attached document.

We are currently recruiting Band 5 and 6 Paediatric nurses, to work within our children’s services at St Peter’s Hospital. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals committed to excellent patient experience to join our team.

We currently have 26 beds on Ash Ward, which includes a 2 bedded HDU, Oak Ward which provides Medical/Surgical Day Care, Out-Patients at St Peter’s and Ashford site. We have a paediatric A&E and it is an exciting time in the Trust as we are shaping the urgent care provisions, building an Integrated Assessment Unit and Emergency care for Children and Young People.

We encourage staff to develop both clinically and managerially and we provide a comprehensive induction program, preceptorship and in-house training.

All new staff are fully supported by the Team Leaders, Ward Manager, Matrons, Clinical Practice Educators, HDU Practice Development Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialists (Paediatrics).

If you are looking to work within a friendly, dynamic team with enthusiastic colleagues then this is the place to be. Good communication skills and a positive approach to work are essential. We encourage staff to take the opportunities available to develop their skills and their career by promoting rotation through our Children’s Services. We have close links with the University of Surrey, Kingston University and UWL which has enabled us to develop multi skilled practitioners.

Come along on either day to see how we can support your career.
