NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW CSU) is looking for a highly motivated Procurement professional who is looking for a role where they have an opportunity to make a significant impact. You will be working for one of the largest commissioning support units in the country, providing support and professional expertise for over 70 NHS and non-NHS customers.

The primary aim of your role is to take responsibility for the delivery of non-clinical procurement projects across multiple categories, primarily IT and Professional Services. These projects are delivered for both external customers and internal stakeholders. This is achieved through a managed work plan comprising planned pipeline activity and ad-hoc bespoke projects, often at very short notice. You will be supporting customers to plan their projects and develop individual procurement strategies prior to placing the project on the work plan. In addition you will utilise category and sourcing strategies to implement long term solutions that optimise future activity.

This post is based in High Wycombe but there is a requirement to travel to other SCW CSU sites and customer locations; as a result it is essential you hold a full driving license and have use of a car, or access to other suitable alternative transport.
