Job Reference: 310-MCC16-1774784-A

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust
Ida Darwin Hospital, Cambridge
£24,214 - £30,112 pa

Are you passionate about working with young people and their families? Do you believe that compassionate, creative care helps to create great experiences that build resilience for future generations? Do you thrive on challenges and enjoy thinking on your feet as much as applying longer-term strategy? Then you may be the person we are looking for?

The Phoenix Centre is renowned for the assessment and treatment of children and Young People with Eating Disorders. The 12-bedded unit is nationally commissioned through NHS England.

Situated on a green and rolling hospital site just outside Cambridge, this specialist unit is one of three commissioned Child and Adolescent Mental Health inpatient wards, providing excellent care to young people and their families. All 3 wards are involved with QNIC and at different stages of the accreditation process. The co-location of these units is unique in the region and thus provides exceptional opportunities for professional development in this specialist area of mental health work, benefiting both the young people and staff within the units.

We are looking for a Band 5 RMN to join our Tier 4 children’s services in order to provide robust, creative and compassionate care to our diverse client group. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, and committed to improving the health of Children and Young People.
