Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals to join a small team providing a comprehensive secretarial, admin and PA support service to Senior Laboratory Managers and consultants within Histopathology and Microbiology

Applicants should be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent), including minimum Grade C equivalent in English and math. Candidates should possess OCR stage II or equivalent word processing skills/ IT GCSE. Previous experience of secretarial duties is essential and an NHS background would be an advantage.

This is an interesting, varied and responsible post and you should have a high standard of secretarial and computer skills together with good organisational and communication skills. Additionally you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a member of a team as well as being able to use your own initiative in prioritising work and meeting deadlines.

Full in-service training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to work across both the NGH and RHH sites on a rotational basis working in conjuction with the Secretary/PA to the Lead laboratory Manager.
