Band 5 Staff Nurse

Full Time – 37.5 hours

Endoscopy: where else can you get a good work life balance, the excitement of an emergency situation with the structure of elective procedures and the support to develop personally and professionally?

Due to our expanding service we are looking for more registered nurses to join our innovative and thriving JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The unit provides a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and strives to provide exceptional levels of patient care in order to meet the expanding needs of the local community.

The unit is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and flexible Registered Nurse to join our experienced, supportive and dedicated team offering the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment covering Endoscopy theatres, admission, and recovery. Endoscopy experience is desirable but not essential as you will receive extensive education and training to develop into a highly skilled practitioner within a challenging and demanding environment.

The unit is open 08:00-18:30 Monday to Saturday, with a twilight shift once a week until 21:00.

DBS - If you join us and need a new DBS check, we will recover the costs through a salary deduction (£40 - enhanced check or £23 - standard)
