We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our in-house team. This role will support recruitment for a wide variety of both clinical and non-clinical roles. This is an opportunity for someone to develop their skills within an organisation recruiting for a broad range of posts within an interesting and challenging recruitment sector. 


You will work closely with the attraction manager and recruitment manager to develop and implement specific attraction plans and tools for areas which present particular recruitment challenges. We recruit to over one hundred positions a month, from nurses to IT developers, sonographers to maintenance staff. You will develop specialist knowledge of the requirements to recruit these positions and contribute to create bespoke, innovative attraction strategies which will meet our organisational needs. 

You'll take responsibility for ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements during the advertising, recruitment and on boarding of candidates, and for producing reports to support the monitoring of KPIs. This role will be part of the team responsible of the full applicant lifecycle. As such, you'll be expected to contribute to activities managed by the team, including supporting our regular high-volume recruitment events and the day-to-day office recruitment activities including supervising staff. 


In addition to a background in external recruitment, ideally you will have experience of: 

  • a broad range of attraction and recruitment tools and systems
  • social media recruitment, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
  • querying specialist databases and Boolean searches
  • customer relationship management systems
  • applicant tracking systems 

We'd also welcome applications from personable individuals with excellent all-round communication skills who are looking to develop and specialise within this exciting and dynamic area of recruitment.

We'll consider candidates with significant in-house and/or agency recruitment experience. 

We will also consider individual’s with a healthcare administration background who would be willing to study as an apprentice for CIPD Level 5 qualification. For this we are offering an 18 month apprenticeship program which would lead to a permanent position. During the 18 month apprenticeship the salary would be £21,078 pro-rata/per annum, moving to £24,214 on successful completion.
