In September 2016 Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) came into being as an innovative health partnership between Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership and South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP Alliance, contracted to provide community health services for people across South Cheshire and Vale Royal. We have an exciting opportunity within CCICP Senior Management Team for a Band 3 Service Manager Assistant.


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible individual to undertake the role of Service Manager Assistant. The main duties of the role are:

Providing secretarial support to the senior management team.

Have the ability to administrate and minute large meetings.

Dealing with telephone enquiries.

Inputting data onto the database.

Excellent accuracy, organisational and communication skills

The ability to work under pressure, to prioritise and to use one’s own initiative

Dealing with the general public/Doctors/Nurses/Other Professionals allied to healthcare.

General administration duties (e.g. filing, copying).

Applicants should be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate working on their own initiative, but also as part of a team. The successful applicant will need to be flexible in their working with a willingness to learn and possess good time management skills. You will need excellent communication skills when liaising with multi-disciplinary professionals. Ideally you will have some NHS experience and possess good IT skills. Previous secretarial experience will be advantageous.

The post will be based at Eaglebridge Health and Wellbeing Centre but may require cross site working and there may be a need for the post holder to travel between Eaglebridge Health and Wellbeing Centre (Crewe) and the various CCICP sites.

Following an NHSI initiative to establish 29 Pathology networks across England the University Hospital of North Midlands is currently working closely with Mid and East Cheshire NHS Trusts to establish a Pathology network across Staffordshire and Cheshire.
