Virgin Care

Bank MSK Physiotherapist

Band 6

Saffron Walden, Harlow and Epping

Are you a self-motivated and enthusiastic MSK Physiotherapist based in Essex and looking for flexible Bank opportunities to fit around your lifestyle? Do you have experience working with children or looking for a chance to gain experience in this area?

You will be joining a supportive and knowledgeable team who are committed to making a difference to the children and families of Essex and are continually recognised for their persistence and dedication.

Feel Valued

As a Band 6, MSK Physiotherapist delivering NHS services with us we’ll provide you with access to a committed Learning and Development team and a wide variety of opportunities to gain more experience and training, via e-learning modules and statutory and mandatory training. You will receive flexible working patterns with hours to suit you, including an NHS pension

Our colleagues are our most precious commodity and it’s important that we take good care of everyone within our organisation. As part of this, we offer a number of services which help us to ensure that everyone is fit and healthy at work, including access to My Wellness our health and wellbeing platform, complimentary eye tests and access to Mind coach. You will also become part of the Virgin Tribe. This grants you access to premier offers such as up to 40% off Virgin Trains, discount on Virgin holidays, as well as regular competitions and giveaways.

Feel Proud

You will be a qualified physiotherapist with a minimum of 2 years’ post graduate practice in MSK. You may not have had the chance to work with children yet but a passion to work with children and improve their wellbeing is essential and you will be provided with on-going training and guidance.

As the MSK Physiotherapist your days will be varied, visiting a number of clinics including Saffron Walden Hospital, Herts & Essex Community Hospital, Harlow Child Development Centre and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping. You will deliver individualised and evidence based care to all patients with the support of a Band 7 Physiotherapist, maintain accurate records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and HCPC standards and maintaining confidentiality, privacy and dignity of all patients. You’ll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.

Moreover, we have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. You’ll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. You’ll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity. Here we recognise and celebrate clinical excellence and dedication.

Feel Inspired

‘Working in this team under such good management has been a real pleasure, thanks to the relentless support between therapists and all other professionals working with us. I haven’t experienced such a good team spirit in any of the teams I’ve worked before’

Feel the Difference

We partner with the NHS to make a real difference to people in Essex and we’re building a working environment where colleagues too can really feel the difference. It’s the kind of place where nothing’s too much trouble. Where you’ll feel empowered, listened to, valued and where we’ll support you to bring your best self to work every single day and to deliver high quality care.

And that’s just the beginning. Since 2006, we’ve delivered services to millions of people by developing our own unique approach where our patients are at the centre of everything we do.
