Band 6 Senior Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Services

 

We are looking to appoint a highly enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual able to work in a fast pace environment to our Clinical Services team. You will need to be able to manage your time effectively, prioritise your own workload, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate excellent leadership qualities.

You will have proven experience of managing services, act as line manager to Pharmacy Technicians and clinical assistants and will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the clinical service to the wards. Contributing to the development of departmental projects and working towards CQUIN targets. You will be required to contribute to the delivery of the clinical strategy. You must be resilient, flexible and positive in your approach.

The department embraces IT innovations, we have a well-established full EPMA system for all adult and paediatric inpatients and the majority of outpatients clinics, robotic dispensing, prescription tracking system, and electronic discharges.

We are extremely compassionate about staff engagement, culture and improvement, where everyone has a voice and where service users and staff collaborate to have a direct impact on the things that matter most.

Registration with the GPhC, an accredited Medicines Management qualification nationally recognised, and final accuracy check accreditation is essential.Experience of working in a hospital Pharmacy setting would be advantageous.
