Operational Delivery Manager - Band 8B

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join ASPH to set up, manage and oversee the delivery of a series of projects designed to improve the quality and operational delivery of our services. The post holder will be accountable for the planning and service transformation for various service improvements, working internally alongside the operational divisional teams to embed the changes required, and externally with other organisations, including providers, commissioners and social care. At the start this post will be working on our urgent care recovery alongside managing smaller projects.

The role therefore requires strong communication and negotiation skills to influence senior clinicians and other stakeholders from across a range of organisations to ensure activities are aligned and on track to deliver.

The successful candidate will be educated to masters’ level or equivalent and have significant experience of working at a senior level within a range of sectors including the acute sector, in project management, and operational management. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate previous collaborative working, meeting the population needs successfully as well as demonstrating a commitment to improving quality and have a track record in using evidence to drive improvement. The ability to motivate and influence individuals and teams that operate across sector/organisational and geographical boundaries is essential for this role. The successful candidate will also have excellent leadership, engagement, and interpersonal skills and strong project management ability.

The post holder will be supported by the Associate Director for Operational Delivery and Improvement, and work closely with colleagues across all divisions.

The post holder will be based in St Peters, Chertsey but will be expected to work across all trust sites
