An opportunity has arisen for the position of Network Analyst within the IT Services Team at Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.

The Network Team supports a vast range of equipment, services and products that help maintain seamless and secure information flows across the network. The team is responsible for over 300 Switches supporting network connections to over 8000 devices.

The team is also responsible for Firewalls and Wi-Fi infrastructure across 40 remote sites which provides both public and corporate services.

The post holder will be required to assist in proactively managing the voice & data network and in the implementation of comprehensive standards and best practices to ensure the provision of a resilient network infrastructure.

The successful candidate will also be required provide the provision of day-to-day network support, including resolution of network user problems, production of network performance statistics, & the provision of network diagnostic information.

The ability to transport yourself and equipment between sites during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy.

On-Call

Please note that positions at AFC band 8A or above may participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational.
