An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our practice nursing team. Situated in the lovely Norfolk town of Diss, Parish Fields Practice serves 8000 patients and has a strong nursing team of practice nurses and HCAs led by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Whilst we are a busy practice, we have a very supportive and caring culture and a good work-life balance is important to us. We provide ongoing in-house teaching and mentoring as well as access to relevant external training courses.

Our nursing team is highly motivated and passionate about providing the best service possible to our patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse keen to embrace change but value the continuity of care General Practice brings.

Our ideal candidate would be an experienced Practice Nurse with a wide range of skills including chronic disease management, immunisations, smears as well as general nursing skills and an understanding of QOF and Enhanced Services. However, for the right person, we are prepared to recruit a treatment room nurse and provide all the relevant training for progression to Practice Nurse.

If you have great communication skills, are competent and confident with IT, are a team player with a good sense of humour, you will feel right at home in our highly skilled nursing team.

Our Nurse Manager, Julia Wallace-King or Practice Manager, Nicky Watson would be very happy to talk to you informally and/or arrange a visit to the practice.
