This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Workforce Transformation team which is part of the Trusts Human Resources service. This will be a varied role including elements of routine administration, manipulation of data and team administration.

Key duties will include:

  • Assisting in the co-ordination of the Trusts apprenticeship scheme

  • Administration relating to Work experience placement and the Care Certificate

  • Supporting the Workforce Transformation Analyst in providing workforce information, producing reports, collating data and maintaining databases

  • Provision of administrative and secretarial support to the team.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good communication and organisational skills and will preferably have experience of using the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) to produce reports.

You should have recent, relevant experience in an Administrative /Secretarial / Reception / Customer Service role, knowledge of office procedures and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook. IT skills may be tested at interview.

Applicants should also be educated to academic Level 2 (e.g. GCSE – Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject or have considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post.

Although this role is initially offered on a fixed term basis there is scope for this role to become permanent should longer term funding be secured during the year.

PLEASE NOTE: All new appointments are subject to 6 months’ probation period.

The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
