The opportunity has arisen within South Western Ambulance Service in the South Clinical Hub for a Dispatcher. The successful candidate will initially work as part of a team and will be responsible for the effective deployment and management of Trust vehicles to emergency and non-emergency calls across the Trust area.

It is desirable that you will have had experience of working in an emergency control environment. You will need to be able to stay calm and professional and be used to working in a pressurised environment, as well as record accurate information.

You must have 4 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English (or equivalent) together with good keyboard skills and good oral communication skills. The ability to be tactful and diplomatic as required is also necessary.

Interviews will take place week commencing on 2 Setepmber 2019.

Training course starting 21 October 2019.
