We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Medicines Safety Nurse who shares the values of Anglian Community Enterprise to join our Quality Team.

The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for Medicines Safety; working closely with the pharmacists, external medicines networks and operational teams to ensure safe levels of competency, safe administration, storage, destruction and supply of medicines. The role will incorporate acting as the organisations Medicines Safety Officer.

You will be part of a small, but supportive, friendly and dynamic team where we are committed to your professional development as well as the delivery of excellence in patient care.

This post is classified as Regulated Activity and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). You must therefore disclose on your application form all convictions, cautions, youth cautions and youth conditional cautions, which are not protected. For external applicants this post attracts an additional payment of £1,000, to be paid in 2 installments:
• £500 to be paid on completion of probation
• £500 on completion of 12 months employment

We operate a probationary policy and all new staff will be subject to a 6 month probationary period. All Qualified Nurses will be required to undertake a Drug Calculation Test as part of this probationary period
