An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated administrator to join an excellent team within Peace Hospice Care.

The primary aim is to administer and be the main point of contact for all referrals to Specialist Palliative Care and to host the Electronic Palliative Care Co-ordination System (EPaCCS), receive and process referrals to the appropriate service in a timely fashion.

This is a part time role – 22.5 hours per week, (the service operates Monday to Friday 0900 – 1700). The post holder may be required to work occasional weekends and bank holidays 1000-1400. This is currently a fixed term contract for 1 year due to funding.

Salary: £17,901 to £20,910 (Developing to Exceptional) pro-rata to hours (£10,740.60 to £12,546)

Working in close liaison with Hospice and external Health and Social Care colleagues, the West Herts Palliative Care Referrals Administrator will support the coordination and triaging of patient service enquiries and referrals alongside a clinical nurse specialist on-call.
