Staff Nurse - Denver Ward

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join Denver Ward.

This is a busy in-patient emergency surgical unit and you will be joining a team of committed clinicians who provide high standards of individualised patient centered care.

As part of your role, you will be required to take responsibility for the efficient and effective organisation of the ward/department and the delivery of the service in the absence of the senior nursing staff. You will contribute to the development of action plans, protocols and pathways to ensure continuous quality improvement of the service.

You will assist in the delivery of a patient-centered, clinically effective and dynamic service from the patient’s admission assessment to discharge.

You will be working as part of a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team whilst acting as a role model for all other staff.
