A fixed term opportunity (until March 2020) has arisen in the Adult Community Neuro-rehabilitation Service in our multidisciplinary team based in Hammersmith and Fulham. The successful post holder will provide assessment and therapy to a wide range of clients with acquired and progressive neurological conditions. The post holder will also provide input as part of the Early Supported Discharge Service for Stroke. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team as well as working as an autonomous practitioner in the community. They will play a key role in the development of the service and will be supported by senior clinicians and a Clinical Specialist.

We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and proactive Speech and Language Therapist with experience of working with adults, including those with acquired and progressive neurological conditions. You must be well organised and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Being a team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary setting is crucial to this role. The Speech and Language Therapists within our team are provided with regular clinical supervision, have opportunities for internal and external CPD, and are encouraged to participate in research and service development.
