Staff Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Due to expansion of our service post opening of a “New State of the Art Intensive Care Unit” we are looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic nurses for an opportunity to enhance and develop their skills within a positive and challenging environment, by joining the friendly team based on the Intensive Care Unit at Torbay Hospital.

 

The successful applicant must be a committed individual prepared to provide high quality evidence based care and be flexible and proactive in adapting to meet the needs of the service and must have recently worked in acute settings. You will possess effective communication skills and have the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. The work is varied, changes quickly and can be physically, mentally and emotionally challenging.

 

The post offers an excellent opportunity for both personal and professional development. The teams within the unit are skilled and highly motivated and actively engage in state of the art multidisciplinary care provision.
