Band 2 Health Care Support Workers (Flu Administrators)

Hours: Part time

£17,652 - £19,020 + 5% HCAS, pro rate per annum

3/4 days per week 9 am – 2.30 pm (Term time only)

CSH Surrey Immunisation teams deliver the schools based immunisation programme across the North-East and West of Surrey. They are supported by Senior Nurses and administrators based in the operational hubs at Goldsworth Park Health Centre in Woking, Ashford Clinic in Spelthorne and Tattenham clinic in Epsom.

Children and Family Health Surrey (CFHS) are looking to recruit Health Care Support Workers to join the Immunisation team from September to December/for the autumn term, administering nasal flu vaccinations to primary school children (reception, and years 1 to 6) and supporting the organisation of sessions.

As a service provider we are committed to professional development, and have a comprehensive training plan ready to support you in this role. You will work under the supervision of a qualified nurse at all times

Being a Car owner / driver is essential and you will need to be available to work from the beginning of October through to the end of the autumn term in December 2019.

This is an opportunity to work with one of the biggest providers of 0-19 services with more than 110,000 children eligible for the nasal flu vaccine this year in Central Surrey Health geographical area.

We are looking for hardworking and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children and young people. The post is fixed term for 10 weeks.

Recruitment - Golden Hello

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in two instalments: - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation. These payments are pro-rata for part- time posts. Payments will be subject to tax and NI National Insurance in the usual way.We don’t operate Golden Hellos for Band 7 or Band 8 posts, Bank posts or fixed term contracts.
