We are recruiting for an (up to) Full Time Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work at Trinity Medical Centre, a busy city centre surgery, and its associated branch surgery, Sandal Castle Medical Centre.

Our ANP’s are currently responsible for dealing with acute presenting conditions that have been assessed by our Triage Nurses before being appropriately booked.

Key Duties Include:

  • Independently assess, treat, and safely refer patients presenting with acute conditions that have been appropriately assessed by the Triage Nurses as requiring same day care.
  • Act as a referral agent and care co-ordinator by establishing multi-agency collaboration across the primary/secondary interface to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Work within the parameters of current prescribing legislation.
  • Provide professional and clinical advice within the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records

The successful applicant must be able to work both independently as well as part of a large team of clinical and non-clinical staff.

A Post Graduate Diploma in Nurse Practitioner Studies and being an Independent Nurse Prescriber is essential. Experience in managing chronic diseases would also be advantageous.

This is a Full Time post. Hours and salary negotiable. Indemnity fees covered.
