Salary:
£44,347 - £50,549 p.a. inc of HCA

The commitment of our 17,100 staff is key to our success. We are one of the largest local employers and we aim to develop and support all our staff so they are able to deliver high quality, safe and efficient care. The 2018 NHS staff survey results show that we have one of the most engaged and motivated workforces in the NHS. We know this has a positive impact on the care provided to our patients.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Radiographer to work in our Imaging Clinical Research Facility based at St Thomas' Hospital. The post requires the post holder to have extensive experience in MRI scanning, particularly in Cardiac MRI, but also in other areas such as imaging of brain, abdomen, musculoskeletal and neuro imaging. Previous experience of working in Catheter Lab would find particularly advantageous as we have a state of the art MRI guided Catheter Lab suite (XMRI Suite) where we undertake cutting-edge imaging guided research procedures.

You will assist in the provision of a safe, efficient, effective, flexible and integrated clinical and research MRI scanning service, supporting the internationally recognised research work. Cardiac MRI experience is essential, as is a 'can do' attitude. You will need the ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach to working time. The post holder will participate in 3 - 4 long days per week depending on the service requirements. A sympathetic and caring approach is important and the ability to work within a team is essential as is good record keeping.

Applicants must be HCPC registered prior to interview.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.
