We are hoping to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual for this full time band 3 administrative position to support the Older Peoples Community Mental Health Service. This role will be suitable for a person who is highly organised and flexible with a strong ability to multi task and prioritise their workload.

The successful post holder will need to be able to undertake general office duties to a high standard including minute taking, inputting data onto our patient record system as well as other various recording systems, managing clinic diaries and uploading and scanning documents.

The successful candidate will be able to manage sensitive information, fully understand the importance of confidentiality and be able to demonstrate diplomacy, kindness, and empathy and have a real passion for supporting vulnerable people.

We are looking for someone who possesses good IT and communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with excellent interpersonal skills and has a good telephone manner. You will enjoy being part of a team but able to work autonomously.

The post holder will receive regular supervision and have opportunities for professional development.

As a new member of staff to Devon Partnership NHS Trust you will be required to attend a full induction programme at the beginning of your employment. The content and length of this programme will depend on your new job role and where you will be working. This can be between one day for non-clinical staff and up to 10 days for inpatient clinical staff.
