Minimum Medical Director Commitment of 6 sessions per week with the opportunity for additional sessions (including clinical) subject to individual job planning agreement

We are on the cusp of approving and publishing our new five year strategy and you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role working as an Executive Director on the Trust Board to influence the delivery of our key ambitions.

With a passion for improving the lives of those who have mental health and substance misuse issues you will provide leadership to the medical workforce to deliver a quality service and outcomes for our population, as well as work with the University of Manchester to oversee our approach to Research and Innovation to further enhance our reputation as a world class research leader.

Your ability to work collectively is key as you will work alongside and in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Governance to take us on a journey of quality improvement and ensure the delivery of an effective clinical governance strategy across the Trust. In addition you will work in partnership with clinical and operational leaders and workforce colleagues to develop the organisation as an employer of choice for clinicians who specialise in psychiatry.
