A seaside opportunity for a dynamic Paediatric Nurse to join Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s busy Paediatric Emergency Department.

Would you like to join our friendly team in a busy and demanding Paediatric Emergency Department? You’ll need post-registration Paediatric experience, excellent communication skills and, of course, a passion for Paediatric nursing.

We are currently recruiting for full-time/part-time Paediatric Nurses to help maintain the very high standards of care we strive to maintain. The successful candidate will help formulate and carry out effective plans of care for our patients and ensure they are delivered to the highest standard.

Our dynamic, caring and highly-motivated Paediatric team are looking for colleagues who can communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and relatives as well as other team members. No two days in the department are ever the same, so we can guarantee a varied and interesting workload. In return, we would need someone with excellent organisational skills, the capability to prioritise a busy workload, masses of professionalism, good teamwork skills and an ability to work under pressure.

This is a permanent part time or full-time post of 37.5 hours per week on an internal shift pattern.
